This team arranges small bouquets of flowers to give homebound members as they visit them in their homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Arrive at 10:00 AM each Monday to arrange flowers in Room 125, then go together on congregational care visits until around 1:00, and grab lunch together afterward.

(Optional: Team members may take turns buying about $20 of flowers. With the current number of volunteers, it amounts to buying flowers once every 6-8 weeks. This is not a requirement to join the team.)

First Baptist’s Restoring Hope Boutique provides used clothing at no charge to members of our community who are in need. We have a good selection of clothing and shoes in all sizes for women, men, and children, including infants. We also hope to provide shoes and coats during the winter.

Family Adventure Club exists to glorify God through equipping & encouraging together as a family unit, so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened.

Parents (or aunts, uncles, guardians, grandparents, etc..) and children come to FAC together, learn together, and play together.  Everyone stays together as a unit throughout the evening.  This is not a traditional drop-off program.  If you need assistance with your children or have a question about this, please feel free to contact Pastor Doug at  . 

We are here to help serve you and navigate this with you.  We have extra grandparents and other adults willing to assist those who need extra hands.

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Choir Room and teams up with the praise band to lead worship on Sunday mornings. Rehearsal is more than notes and rhythms. It's an opportunity to worship and draw near to God together! Under the direction of Worship Pastor, James Passman, the choir prepares a wide variety of music to include hymn arrangements, choral classics, and adaptations of modern worship choruses. The Sanctuary Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all who want to come and sing.

A love for the Lord and a love for music are the only two requirements.

• Observation: See precisely what the Bible says about Daniel’s, Shadrach’s, Meshach’s, and Abednego’s relationships with God.
  Interpretation: Explore the meaning of these passages in the context of Scripture.
• Application: Discover what truths you can apply to your personal life as you learn what Daniel and his friends experienced in their relationships with God.
• Dig deep into the details of Daniel 1-6 and discover how God ministered to His people at that time.

We hold to a high view of the scriptures but most of us need better tools to make the most of our time in God’s word. This Fall we will be exploring a process to strengthen our small groups in Biblical Fidelity as the foundational core value at FBCNB. Please join us! This is open to all who are interested. No signup necessary.

42 is a domino game that is played like a card game with a twist. You'll enjoy a good game and fellowship. We typically meet the fourth Friday of each month, with a few exceptions, from 5:15-8:30 PM in Room 120. Please contact June Long at 830-237-7692 or   so she can organize an even number of players.

How different does your life look than those who don’t follow Jesus?

Are you being transformed in your walk with Jesus, or do you feel like you're falling short? Is the gospel still alive to you, changing you on a daily basis? Martin Luther said the book of Romans is “...truly the most important piece in the New Testament. It is purest Gospel. It is well worth a Christian’s while not only to memorize it word for word but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul.”

What is it about the book of Romans that is so important, so necessary for daily living? When Paul wrote his letter to the Romans, he knew they weren’t hearing the gospel of Jesus for the first time. In the book, he lays out the path to salvation, yes, but also the process of growth and maturity in following Jesus, and the necessity of sharing the gospel.

Quarterly Member Meetings are open to any member or prospect. Only members can vote on church business but all are welcome to attend.

At these meetings, we approve new members, answer questions about large projects, share vision and direction for new initiatives, get reports from all the standing committees (missions, finance, personnel, nominating & bylaws), and reports from any ad hoc committees we currently have (i.e. building, search committees, etc...).

This team arranges small bouquets of flowers to give homebound members as they visit them in their homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Arrive at 10:00 AM each Monday to arrange flowers in Room 125, then go together on congregational care visits until around 1:00, and grab lunch together afterward.

(Optional: Team members may take turns buying about $20 of flowers. With the current number of volunteers, it amounts to buying flowers once every 6-8 weeks. This is not a requirement to join the team.)

Parents (or aunts, uncles, guardians, grandparents, etc..) and children come to FAC together, learn together, and play together.  Everyone stays together as a unit throughout the evening.  This is not a traditional drop-off program.  If you need assistance with your children or have a question about this, please feel free to contact Pastor Doug at  . 

We are here to help serve you and navigate this with you.  We have extra grandparents and other adults willing to assist those who need extra hands.

It's an opportunity to worship and draw near to God together! Under the direction of Worship Pastor, James Passman, the choir prepares a wide variety of music to include hymn arrangements, choral classics, and adaptations of modern worship choruses. The Sanctuary Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all who want to come and sing.

A love for the Lord and a love for music are the only two requirements.

42 is a domino game that is played like a card game with a twist. You'll enjoy a good game and fellowship. First Baptist’s Restoring Hope Boutique provides used clothing at no charge to members of our community who are in need. We have a good selection of clothing and shoes in all sizes for women, men, and children, including infants. We also hope to provide shoes and coats during the winter.

Arrive at 10:00 AM each Monday to arrange flowers in Room 125, then go together on congregational care visits until around 1:00, and grab lunch together afterward.

(Optional: Team members may take turns buying about $20 of flowers. With the current number of volunteers, it amounts to buying flowers once every 6-8 weeks. This is not a requirement to join the team.)

Parents (or aunts, uncles, guardians, grandparents, etc..) and children come to FAC together, learn together, and play together.  Everyone stays together as a unit throughout the evening.  This is not a traditional drop-off program.  If you need assistance with your children or have a question about this, please feel free to contact Pastor Doug at  .

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Choir Room and teams up with the praise band to lead worship on Sunday mornings. Rehearsal is more than notes and rhythms. It's an opportunity to worship and draw near to God together! Under the direction of Worship Pastor, James Passman, the choir prepares a wide variety of music to include hymn arrangements, choral classics, and adaptations of modern worship choruses. The Sanctuary Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all who want to come and sing.

A love for the Lord and a love for music are the only two requirements.

Quarterly Member Meetings are open to any member or prospect. Only members can vote on church business but all are welcome to attend.

At these meetings, we approve new members, answer questions about large projects, share vision and direction for new initiatives, get reports from all the standing committees (missions, finance, personnel, nominating & bylaws), and reports from any ad hoc committees we currently have (i.e. building, search committees, etc...).

All members are highly encouraged to attend, ask questions, and be a part of the conversation.

Family Adventure Club exists to glorify God through equipping & encouraging together as a family unit, so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened.

Parents (or aunts, uncles, guardians, grandparents, etc..) and children come to FAC together, learn together, and play together.  Everyone stays together as a unit throughout the evening.  This is not a traditional drop-off program.  If you need assistance with your children or have a question about this, please feel free to contact Pastor Doug at  . 

We are here to help serve you and navigate this with you.  We have extra grandparents and other adults willing to assist those who need extra hands.

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 PM in the Choir Room and teams up with the praise band to lead worship on Sunday mornings. Rehearsal is more than notes and rhythms. It's an opportunity to worship and draw near to God together! Under the direction of Worship Pastor, James Passman, the choir prepares a wide variety of music to include hymn arrangements, choral classics, and adaptations of modern worship choruses. The Sanctuary Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all who want to come and sing.

A love for the Lord and a love for music are the only two requirements.

First Baptist’s Restoring Hope Boutique provides used clothing at no charge to members of our community who are in need. We have a good selection of clothing and shoes in all sizes for women, men, and children, including infants. We also hope to provide shoes and coats during the winter.

(Optional: Team members may take turns buying about $20 of flowers. With the current number of volunteers, it amounts to buying flowers once every 6-8 weeks. This is not a requirement to join the team.)

It's an opportunity to worship and draw near to God together! Under the direction of Worship Pastor, James Passman, the choir prepares a wide variety of music to include hymn arrangements, choral classics, and adaptations of modern worship choruses. The Sanctuary Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all who want to come and sing.

A love for the Lord and a love for music are the only two requirements.

First Baptist’s Restoring Hope Boutique provides used clothing at no charge to members of our community who are in need. We have a good selection of clothing and shoes in all sizes for women, men, and children, including infants. We also hope to provide shoes and coats during the winter.

Donations
All items should be clean and free of stains, tears, and logos. We are unable to accept underwear, bathing suits, men's suits or jackets, or any dry clean items. 
Donations may be dropped off at the Boutique on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:00 and 11:00 AM, or left on the porch in weatherproof bags.

This team arranges small bouquets of flowers to give homebound members as they visit them in their homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Arrive at 10:00 AM each Monday to arrange flowers in Room 125, then go together on congregational care visits until around 1:00, and grab lunch together afterward.

(Optional: Team members may take turns buying about $20 of flowers. With the current number of volunteers, it amounts to buying flowers once every 6-8 weeks. This is not a requirement to join the team.)

On the first Monday of each month, we meet at Noon at the Founders Oak in Landa Park. Come join us in praying for revival in our nation, our state, our city, and ourselves. Pray for the entire hour, or drop in for a few minutes on your lunch break. Contact Barry Bechtold.

All men are invited and encouraged to attend this monthly fellowship from 7:00-8:00 AM in the Gym on the third Saturday of each month. We will have a devotional, testimony, praise and worship, and highlight ministry options available. Breakfast will be provided.

42 is a domino game that is played like a card game with a twist. You'll enjoy a good game and fellowship. We typically meet the fourth Friday of each month, with a few exceptions, from 5:15-8:30 PM in Room 120. Please contact June Long at 830-237-7692 or   so she can organize an even number of players.

Beginners are always welcome and will be taught to play at a beginner's table!
