Jim Fielder,
Currently discussing Forgive: Why Should I and How Can I? by Timothy Keller.
Pastor and New York Times bestselling author Timothy Keller outlines the reasons why forgiveness has to be a central part of everyone’s lives.
Forgiving anyone in a meaningful way is one of the hardest things a person has to do. If you do not, resentment and vengeance begin to consume you. It is nearly impossible to move past transgression without forgiveness, but few people have the resources and the tools to forgive others fully and move on with their lives. Forgiveness is an essential skill, a moral imperative, and a religious belief that cuts right to the core of what it means to be human. In Forgive, Timothy Keller shows readers why it is so important and how to do it, explaining in detail the steps you need to take in order to move on without sacrificing justice or your humanity.

Men's Book Study
Leader: Jim Fielder |
Tuesday mornings from 8:00-9:00 AM in the Church Library

Family VBS 2023
JUNE 5-8, 2023 | 6:00-8:00 PM
Family VBS 2023
Leader: Doug Dunnavant |
Let’s VBS Together!
At FBCNB, we support family ministry by strategically coaching and supporting families as together we share the gospel, grow in biblical training, and strengthen discipleship from the inside out. We want to enable parents to literally come alongside their children with the truth of God, His Word, the sacrifice of His Son Jesus, and to support a lifelong effort to grow in the knowledge and understanding of the Lord together as a family.
Keepers of the Kingdom
This summer, we are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they’re bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil. With this VBS, your family will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and you will all be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom and stand strong in today’s battle for truth. Our prayer is that parents will feel fully equipped and supported during this time to help their children see and hear God’s greatness and begin to plant a desire to know Him, love His Word, and live daily for Him.
Family VBS 2023

Men's Book Study
Leader: Jim Fielder |
Tuesday mornings from 8:00-9:00 AM in the Church Library

Tuesday mornings from 8:00-9:00 AM in the Church Library

Every Sunday, 11am - Noon
NEW! Discover First
Leader: Holly Panter |
First Baptist Church: 733 Cross Street, New Braunfels, TX US 78130
Our membership class, Discover First, has been revamped as an informative five-week process that will help you settle into FBCNB as your church home and family as quickly and thoroughly as possible. It’s a wonderful way to meet people and start building relationships while discovering our essential church doctrines, core values, culture, terms, and rhythm.
Whether you’re a new guest or long-time member, whether you’re seeking membership or just curious, you can jump in any week, in any order, with no commitment to membership. This is intended to be both a membership and a general introduction class.
Starting March 12, 2023, Discover First will meet every Sunday (except holidays) from 11:00 AM to Noon in Rushing Hall. The topic will rotate each Sunday:
Week 1 – Introduction
Week 2 – Biblical Fidelity
Week 3 – Purposeful Evangelism
Week 4 – Christlike Living
Week 5 – Genuine Fellowship
To complete the membership process, you’ll be asked to attend all five sessions, in any order, and meet with Pastor Brad. This is not an interview. It’s just a get-to-know-you meeting and a chance for you to ask any further questions you may have. Again, you can attend the sessions in any order. And if you miss a week, no problem! You can pick it up when that topic rotates back around in five weeks.
CHILDCARE:
Children are welcome to attend the sessions with you.
If you’d prefer childcare, please indicate that on the registration link below.
