Why We're Here
The purpose of First Baptist Kids Academy is to support the home and extend the ministry of First Baptist Church into our community by providing biblically based, age-appropriate education for preschoolers and children in a loving and safe environment which allows for their spiritual, mental, physical, and social development. It is our goal to provide your children with hands-on engaging experiences at First Baptist Kids Academy. We want to support your preschool and homeschooling journey, as well as engage our students in Biblical interactive learning. Each year we look forward to offering new and exciting things, and we're so blessed to be able to serve our FBKA families.
Description
Kids Academy is for children 3 months old through 6th grade.
Kids Academy is two days a week, either Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Our preschool program is for students, ages 3 months through PreK.
We support families of these ages with age-appropriate social and academic education.
Our homeschool program is for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
We focus on Bible, math*, and science and offer music and PE as well as other electives. Kinder-2nd Grade focus on reading** as well.
*Students in 3rd-5th Grade will take a math placement test in May.
**Students in K-2nd Grade will take a reading placement test in May.
Students with Special Needs
While we strive to be inclusive of all children, including those with special needs, our program is not equipped to provide for every situation. If your child is not independent according to his or her biological age, we may not be able to accommodate his or her need for extra help in the classroom. Please speak with Director Lesli Pearson before registering to determine whether our program is the right fit to accommodate any special needs your child may have.
2026-2027 School Year
We are excited to begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year and would like to share important information about registration and our school calendar.
Register Online - Opens Feb 16
This year, registration will be completed online.* Registration will be open to the public on February 16, 2026. There will be a $25 registration fee per student at the time of submission. If your child is accepted, this $25 will be applied toward the $300 enrollment fee, leaving a remaining balance of $275 that will be due to secure your spot by February 26.
*The link to register will be posted here on this webpage on February 16. We encourage families to complete the process as early as possible to secure a spot, as availability is limited.
