Welcome to First Baptist New Braunfels! We are eager to minister to you and your family.
Membership
While all are welcome to attend, membership is required for congregational votes and certain volunteer opportunities. To pursue membership, please attend our quarterly Discover First class (see below), after which you'll meet with an elder, sign a Member Covenant, and be affirmed by congregational vote at the subsequent quarterly Member Meeting.

Discover First is an informative five-topic class that will help you settle into FBCNB as your church home and family as quickly and thoroughly as possible. It’s a wonderful way to meet people and start building relationships while discovering our essential church doctrines, core values, culture, terms, and rhythm.
Whether you’re a new guest or long-time member, whether you’re seeking membership or just curious, you can jump in anytime with no commitment to membership. This is intended to be both a membership and a general introduction class.

Session 5 – Genuine Fellowship
To join FBCNB as a member, you’ll be asked to attend Discover First and meet with one of our elders. This is not an interview. It’s just a get-to-know-you meeting and a chance for you to ask any further questions you may have.
