Below are some of the prominent mission opportunities and ministries at FBCNB. This is not an exhaustive list, so if God has put something on your heart to seek or to start, please contact us at FirstBaptist@fbcnb.org or 830-625-9124.

Jesus says that the world will know us by our love (John 13:35). Our hearbeat should be for others. FBCNB should be known for our love. To help communicate this drive, we are excited to dub our local missions ministry "I Love NB." We "Love NB" because God first loved us, and we are excited to lead people to Jesus. What better way to lead people to Jesus than by serving them with love? We desire to be "salt and light" to our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family. We "Love NB" by providing school supplies, praying for First Responders, delivering Thanksgiving baskets, and witnessing to our neighbors. Please join us as we commit to "Love NB."

Ecuador is full of life and color, but the people are very much in need of Christ. Minister in the capital city of Quito, high in the Andes Mountains, teaching children and teens about God's promises, relating those promises to their lives, and sharing the gospel with those who don't know Christ. The curriculum is fun and action-packed, with lots of games, stories, and hands-on activites. On top of that, you can travel and serve in Ecuador side-by-side with your friends from church. There's nothing like serving together to build and deepen friendships! The team will be led by FBCNB member Micah Cavanaugh, in partnership with Global Encounters.
